Design and commission power and signal interface circuits and PCB for controllers and instrumentation in power conversion systems.
Perform schematic capture, PCB layout, and develop test procedures for electrical systems and prototypes.
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems and maintain laboratory equipment and facilities.
As an Electronics Hardware Engineer for GE Vernova Advanced Research, you will work with and support engineers in executing various power electronics related projects for GE Vernova applications. You need to be comfortable with designing and populating printed circuits, populating wiring enclosures, fabricating inductors, and designing fixtures for evaluation of power conversion systems. You will design and validate advanced embedded systems and power electronics hardware, working across FPGA, MCU, DSP platforms, as well as diverse types of power devices at wide range of power levels. The role requires strong electrical engineering fundamentals, firsthand lab skills, and experience with high-speed board design.
Roles and ResponsibilitiesBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience after graduation, with a primary focus in technology applied to power electronics and/or embedded systems.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $80,000.00 and $120,000.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
