What is the difference between Commission Insurance Restoration Contractor vs Insurance Adjuster?

AspectCommission Insurance Restoration ContractorInsurance Adjuster
CredentialsLicenses, certifications in restoration and constructionAdjuster licenses, certifications like AIC or CPCU
Work EnvironmentOn-site restoration projects, construction sitesOffice, claim sites, client meetings
Employer & Industry UsageRestoration companies, contractorsInsurance companies, independent agencies

While both roles involve insurance claims, a Commission Insurance Restoration Contractor focuses on restoring properties after damage, working directly on-site, often earning commissions based on project value. An Insurance Adjuster evaluates claims, determines coverage, and estimates damages, typically working in an office or claim site. Understanding these differences helps clients identify the right professional for their insurance needs.
