Job description

Position Summary

Conducts quality checks in production cells and on incoming materials to ensure conformance with established standards.

Essential Functions:

  • Check product to blueprints with little or no supervision.
  • Ability to perform quality checks within their assigned areas.
  • Perform complete check to assembly and build blueprints to verify product.
  • Ability to understand purpose of product.
  • Ability to determine tolerances.
  • Adhere to safety policies.
  • Working knowledge of Quality software programs
  • Knowledge and understanding of non- conforming material procedures.

Qualification Requirements:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1 to 3 months of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years of Quality Inspection experience preferred.
  • Must Demonstrate effective organizational and verbal/written English communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel, and Word

Physical Demands:   While performing the essential functions of this job, the associate will be required to walk, talk, or hear. Will be required to stand, sit, and reach with both hands and arms. The employee will occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds. Normal weight to be lifted or moved is between 0 and 15 pounds.

While performing the essential functions of this of this job the associate could be exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
