Position Description
Sr BIM/VDC Engineer Overview
Join the Ferguson Rock Shed Project as a Sr. BIM/VDC Engineer-leveraging the latest technology on a one-of-a-kind build that fuses precision prefabrication with complex on-site construction.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop detailed models using Autodesk AEC Suite to streamline the production of 3D models and drawings for on-site construction and prefabrication of various concrete elements.
  • Model concrete structures for lift drawings, rebar, and formwork
  • Provide constructability and sequencing feedback through BIM model reviews
  • Coordinate models internally and with external teams
  • Collaborate closely with VDC Manager, located in the home office in Utah, and onsite project staff

Position Requirements
What We're Looking For:
  • 6+ years of BIM/VDC experience in heavy civil or concrete structures
  • Extensive experience onsite with concrete crews and knowledge of structural concrete construction
  • Proficient in Revit, Civil 3D, Recap, Navisworks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam
