LHH is seeking a Sales Analyst for a Direct Hire, Permanent Placement position with a manufacturing client located in Indianapolis, IN. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company that is committed to innovation, operational excellence, and producing quality products for their ever-expanding customer base. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, variances, and actionable insights for leadership
- Process and audit monthly sales figures, forecasted orders, and rebate submissions
- Calculate and validate commissions for sales representatives and leadership
- Prepare and distribute sales and commission reports
- Maintain and update customer records in ERP system
- Monitor sales activity out in the field and assign responsibilities to sales staff
- Forecast future commission payments using historical data and internal models
- Optimize commission processes and communicate updates to stakeholders
- Audit and support annual territory and regional realignments
- Resolve financial discrepancies
- Generate ad hoc reports to support sales and finance teams
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the sales analytics function
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all reporting platforms
- Bachelor Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related analytical-field is required
- Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of sales analytics or business analysis experience
- Must have experience calculating and auditing complex commission structures
- Must have experience with ERP and/or CRM systems
- Ideal candidates will have experience with PowerBI and advanced Excel functions
- Ideal candidates will have the ability to interpret large datasets and present findings clearly
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across departments
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities
