Job Description:

Position: Acute Care Pharmacist

Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts

Setting: Acute Care Hospital

Duration: 13 weeks

Schedule:
  • 7 days on / 7 days off
  • Overnight shift
  • 9:00pm-7:00am
  • Monday-Sunday rotation
  • 7x10-hour shifts during scheduled week
Local Pay Package:
  • $6,400 per week
Overview:
  • Verify medication orders and ensure safe medication dispensing practices
  • Oversee pharmacy compounding personnel and workflow operations
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to optimize patient care
  • Utilize EPIC EMR for medication management and documentation
  • Escalate operational and medication-related concerns to pharmacy leadership as needed
  • Work independently in a fast-paced acute care environment
  • Great opportunity for experienced Acute Care Pharmacists seeking an overnight assignment

Requirements:
  • Active Massachusetts Pharmacist license required
  • Minimum 2 years of acute care pharmacist experience required
  • EPIC EMR experience required
  • Experience verifying medication orders required
  • Experience overseeing pharmacy operations and compounding personnel preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment and communication skills required
