The role involves leading backend engineering teams, driving product development, managing application enhancements, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders in an Agile environment.## Key Responsibilities* Lead and mentor a team of 5-10 backend engineers.* Drive application development and enhancements using Java, Scala, Spring Boot, and Microservices.* Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to engineering best practices.* Manage CI/CD pipelines and support release activities.* Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, SMEs, and business stakeholders to deliver product features.* Support cloud-based application development and operations.## Mandatory Skills* 10+ years of experience in software development and team leadership.* Strong expertise in Java and/or Scala.* Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.* Experience in leading application changes, code reviews, and CI/CD processes.* Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.* Exposure to cloud services.## Preferred Skills* Apache Kafka* Akka Platform and Play Framework* Jira and Confluence* AWS Cloud Services## Qualification* Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.* Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $82,082 to 193,440Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws.
