Job description

Position Summary:

Analytic Services Inc. (ANSER) is seeking an Associate All Source Counter Terrorism Analyst to provide All source (Counter Terrorism) Analysis to support the classification review and declassification effort for the Habeas Corpus Support Contract. Analysts will perform security classification/declassification on documents pertaining to detainees presently or formerly held at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba (GTMO). As an All Source Analyst, you will serve as a security classification reviewer or subject matter expert conducting security classification reviews to ensure DoD documents are properly classified.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Declassify DoD classified documents to the U/FOUO and U/PUBLIC RELEASE levels, including summaries and explanations
  • Use DoD's security classification and declassification guide to assess, review, and make recommendations regarding the continuing classification of or possible declassification of documents and information used in litigation and Office of Military Commission legal proceedings
  • Assist in the preparation of classified or unclassified summaries with original classification authorities or their representatives and attorneys involved in the detainee litigation process
  • Coordinate classification and declassification equities with other DoD and national level agencies, military departments, and combatant commands in a fast-paced interagency environment

Required Qualifications:

  • An active/Current TS/SCI clearance w/CI Polygraph
  • Associate's degree in related area.  Will consider additional 4 years of direct experience with a high school diploma.
  • Have 3+ years of experience conducting analysis relevant to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
  • The ability to work independently and in team environment with moderate customer oversight.
  • The ability to provide comprehensive and completed products that may require multiple, minor revisions and/or editing.
  • Experience performing classification/declassification reviews for a variety of documents - i.e. reviewing classified information to identify all information that is classified, and the level of classification based on the classification guidance of the DoD Component Original Classification Authorities (OCAs) or their representatives.
