We're currently looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Operations team in Fairfield, NJ. If you're ready to make an impact behind the scenes and grow your career at a people-first firm, we'd love to hear from you!
What You'll Do
You'll play a key role in helping our business operate smoothly and effectively. Your day-to-day may include:
  • Supporting the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
  • Maintaining the general ledger and assisting with accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and cash applications
  • Preparing bank reconciliations, commission schedules, revenue reports, and work-in-process analyses
  • Uploading subsidiary ledger activity into the corporate ledger and ensuring data accuracy and completeness
  • Assisting with client billing and collaborating with the Collections team to monitor receivables and support collection efforts
  • Supporting annual financial statement audits and internal control reviews
  • Updating forecasts and contributing financial insights to support business planning and decision-making
  • Identifying opportunities to improve accounting processes, strengthen controls, and enhance reporting efficiency
  • Partnering with colleagues across Finance and Operations to deliver accurate, timely, and actionable information
  • Performing ad hoc analyses and special projects as requested by management

What You'll Bring
We know great team members come from all kinds of backgrounds. Some things we typically look for:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate accounting environment or professional services firm
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting principles
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with accounting systems; NetSuite experience is preferred
  • Experience with month-end close, account reconciliations, and audit support
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
  • A proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence
