Position Overview

Autodesk is looking for a Network DevOps Engineer to join the Global Network Engineering team. Come join us in our journey to provide our customers with a world class SAAS platform, enabling imaginative and industry-changing Autodesk products.

As a member of the Network Engineering Team, you will be responsible for maturing cloud-based network systems, including designing secure VPC configurations, configuring NAT gateways, securing cloud workload routing via route aggregation solutions etc. You will troubleshoot, implement, and improve standards, implementations, and procedures related to all cloud and data center networking technologies, including but not limited to, LAN/WAN, switches, routers, load balancers, and firewalls. You will participate in cross-team and organizational projects, designing, documenting, and implementing new and secure networking solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Drivelong-term networking strategy in the public cloud

  • Automatenetworking relatedtasks andbuild self-service tools

  • Maintain an enterprise scale SASE solution.

  • Run and maintain the network - debug, troubleshoot, tune, support

  • Participate in organizational objective planning sessions

  • Manage relationships with third party vendors

  • Cross-train and mentor teammates

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in CS or related field, or equivalent work experience

  • 3+ years of experience in large-scale network Infrastructure

  • Knowledge of AWS, Azure networking design and services

  • Able to design, secure, and automate AWS networking infrastructure

  • Knowledge of Network Routing, DNS, Virtual Load Balancing (ALB, NLB)

  • Knowledge on CI/CD pipelines, github

  • High level of proficiency and experience with TCP/IP networking, architecture, and core technologies, such as MPLS, BGP, DNS, IPsec, etc.

  • Knowledge of managing Campus wireless networks

  • Knowledge of firewalls, security configurations and troubleshooting

  • Proven ability to work effectively within an Agile framework

  • Skilled at presenting technical policies, proposals, and designs

  • Clear communicator with a positive attitude

  • Ability to manage long term, project/milestone-based work with multiple teams

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $95,000 and $170,610. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
