Job description

Investment Senior Analyst - Fixed Income

  • Manages investment process to provide sound and timely credit decisions for new investments
  • Analyzes, evaluates and recommends purchase of corporate bonds
  • Identifies risks quickly and evaluates appropriately
  • Analytic work is well-documented and uses current tools and information sources

Investment program demonstrates:

  • Good credit risk decisions in industry, sector, global context investments consistent with portfolio investment and financial objectives
  • Makes a substantive contribution to departmental program plan
  • Helps lead Fixed Income team in proactively managing portfolio to meet financial objectives.

Participates in development of corporate portfolio and sector strategies

  • Actively monitors holdings and identifies restructuring / sale opportunities
  • Anticipates and manages deteriorating credits
  • Monthly pricing demonstrates market discipline and all available information
  • Helps drive organizational renewal and team-building priorities

Shares market and sector information appropriately with colleagues across the organization

  • Participates in fixed income sector reviews and risk management processes

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in finance or a related discipline
  • Ability to work overtime
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Analytical ability
  • Commitment to complete CFA

This position supports Cigna Investments, Inc., an investment adviser registered with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC"). The successful candidate will become an Access Person of CII required to comply with the personal trading requirements and restrictions contained in CII's Code of Ethics. These requirements and restrictions apply to the Access Person and all securities transactions in accounts in which an Access Person has a Beneficial Interest.


If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 71,200 - 118,600 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
