Business Development Manager – Cryptocurrency Services

CryptoFi was started as a Crypto-as-a-Service (CaaS) organization that enables financial institutions to offer all leading digital currencies, to their customer base, compliantly and seamlessly via existing platforms. While this line of business is very exciting for us, we're equally excited to introduce our patent-pending technology that allows any retail location to offer cryptocurrency to their customers over the counter via an in-store tablet. This solution adds a new revenue stream for the store (as they share in the transaction fees), while driving more traffic to the location. We've been very thoughtful about this solution, to ensure the workflow is fast and doesn't cause lines to back up at the cashier. Additionally, you'll have the advantage of selling against crypto ATMs that take up a lot of space at the store - and because we don't have the overhead associated with ATM management, we give the store owners a larger portion of the transaction fees, making it an easy sell against crypto ATMs. We have a partnership with a check cashing software company, that will make it seamless to sell to a client list of about 600 to start (split between two reps), and from there, you'll be prospecting to close more sales.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Working with our check cashing software partner, to facilitate warm introductions to existing clients
  • Building prospecting lists for new prospects from market research
  • Creating, and managing prospect contact data within Hubspot
  • Calling on prospects to schedule meetings, in addition to walking into stores to introduce this solution
  • Give product demos to store owners, and franchise decision makers
  • Continue to follow up with prospects, until deals are closed and the contract is signed
  • Coordinate the implementation of the tablet solution with the client and internal personnel at CryptoFi
  • After closing deals, work with stores to ensure optimal co-marketing efforts between CryptoFi and the stores
  • Provide continued support to customers to ensure they are getting the most out of the platform, and be the primary point of contact for your entire customer base
  • Manage contract renewals, and potential opportunities to upsell as new features get developed

What We're Looking For In A Candidate

  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience
  • At least 1 year of experience selling B2B to check cashing stores, c-stores, retail stores or grocery stores
  • Demonstrated track record to grow sales
  • MUST be passionate about cryptocurrency
  • Bachelor's Degree, ideally in a business related field, is preferred but not required
  • Ability to work independently

  • You are 100% remote, and we aren't an organization that will micromanage your time
  • We have weekly sales meetings, and daily check ins to ensure you're getting the support you need. But, we're looking for self-starters that can work independently to produce results.
