Job description

WHO WE ARE:The Elmhurst Park District, established in 1920 and located 16 miles west of Chicago, provides parks, recreation facilities and programs to meet our mission of enriching lives while having fun! Our vision is to become a national leader in providing parks and recreation experiences to our community.We are looking for someone who will help us achieve our vision of becoming a national leader in providing parks and recreation experiences to our community.
We have an exciting seasonal job opportunity as Bartender/Banquet Server at Sugar Creek Golf Course!
WHAT YOU'LL DO: Provide service of all food items ordered by patrons and facilitate all banquets and special events under the direction of management. Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Drive beverage cart for on course service.
  • Perform all daily and general housekeeping duties.
  • Maintain adequate stock levels in all coolers to insure all patrons' needs are fulfilled.
  • Be familiar with all state and local laws pertaining to the service of food.
  • Aid with the creation of new menu items and daily specials.


WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • Some high school education with relevant experience
  • Current BASSET certification or ability to obtain
  • Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcohol


WHEN YOU'LL WORK:

  • Mainly Fridays and Weekends.
  • Some weekdays for special events.


WHAT YOU'LL GET:

  • The anticipated starting pay for this position is $15.25 per hour.
  • This position falls under Pay Grade E with a pay range of $15.00 - $20.00
