Cherry Hills Country Club, founded in 1922, is a family friendly Club with over 690 members. Facilities include a renowned championship golf course, a full-service golf shop, driving range, practice facilities, halfway house, and Par 3 course: eight outdoor tennis courts incorporating two pickleball courts, tennis shop, a family pool complex with cafe, junior Olympic size swimming pool and an active children's club.

Responsibilities Background: 

Cherry Hills Country Club is expanding operations to provide year-round services to members and families. The membership desires to support food and beverage at the Club and is looking to build trust and confidence in people that are passionate. 


Job Overview:

Assist Banquet Captain or Events Manager in the serving of guests during banquet functions to ensure positive guest experience. 

Work Schedule: Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays 


Essential duties:

  • Set up banquet room as instructed by Supervisor to include linen, Service ware and glassware.  
  • Attend roll call meetings before events to learn function particulars, including guest and hotel expectations.  
  • Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly and courteous manner.  
  • Serve the food and/or beverage in the order and to the expectation of the Supervisor to ensure consistency throughout the banquet. Promptly remove dishes as guests complete each course and/or meal at the end of the meal or function.  
  • Abide by all State and Federal requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages.  
  • Replenish beverages as necessary, and check with guests for overall satisfaction.  
  • Once banquet is complete, reset banquet room according to Supervisors specifications to ensure the readiness of the room for the following function.  
  • Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a on-call basis.  
  • Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.  


Requirements

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to lift and push 50 pounds. 
  • Stand for duration of shift, while working indoor and outdoor events. 
  • 1 year experience in banquet service or applicable restaurant supervision required. 
  • Basic computer proficiency required. 


Compensation:


This position is part-time year-round offered at $15.16 per hour plus gratuity pool share.

  • Sick pay up to 48 hours a year - accrued based on hours worked
