Senior Talent Development Consultant

Strategic Talent Development Services โ€” Contingent Upon Contract Award

Employment Type: Contract / As Needed

Location: On-Site, Richmond, VA

Status: This position is contingent upon contract award.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Talent Development Consultant to support strategic talent development, organizational development, leadership development, and related consulting engagements for a Virginia State client.

This is an asโ€‘needed professional services opportunity. Successful candidates may be assigned to one or more labor categories based on their qualifications, experience, and the needs of individual projects.

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 8 years of consulting experience for consideration at the Senior Consultant level.
  • Demonstrated deep expertise and insight in consulting, strategic talent development, organizational development, leadership development, or related areas.
  • Certification, degree, formal training, or demonstrated proficiency in one or more of the following:
    • Organizational Development
    • Facilitation
    • Change Management
    • Talent Development
    • Leadership Development
    • Coaching
    • Mediation
    • Human-Centered Design
    • Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI)
    • Process Improvement
  • Demonstrated experience in at least three of the following areas:
    • Meeting, retreat, and facilitation
    • Team building and culture building
    • Organizational assessments
    • Strategic planning
    • Succession planning
    • Change management
    • Conflict resolution and mediation
    • Skill development
Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic consulting and organizational development services.
  • Support leadership and talent development initiatives.
  • Facilitate meetings, retreats, strategic planning sessions, and teamโ€‘development activities.
  • Support organizational assessments and cultureโ€‘building initiatives.
  • Support succession planning and leadership development.
  • Assist organizations in navigating change.
  • Facilitate conflict resolution and mediation activities when appropriate.
  • Support skillโ€‘development initiatives.
  • Develop customized content and materials for organizational development interventions.
  • Work with executives, managers, supervisors, teams, and professional staff.
  • Collaborate with coaches, facilitators, analysts, and other subject matter experts.
  • Provide services onsite, virtually, or through hybrid arrangements as agreed with the client.
Work Requirements

Candidates must be available, as assigned, during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Onsite services will be performed at the client's facilities or another location designated by the client.
