Job description

Concrete Polisher- Overnight Position
 
Marblelife NTX is seeking to add concrete polishers that are honest, responsible, trustworthy, hard-working workers to get the job done. The position is a 3rd shift position and is outside work. We are a family-owned business that specializes in the restoration and maintenance of natural stones including marble, travertine, limestone, granite, terrazzo, concrete, etc. Ideal experience will have experience working with concrete and various natural stones.

The job consists of operating polishing equipment, grinding machines, hand grinding, manual labor, joint fill and repair and decorative concrete. Must have transportation to the assigned job site, which is usually in Houston and surrounding areas.

 Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Operation of machines and equipment used in the concrete polishing process
  • Ability to work with others on a crew to ensure quality and project success
  • Ability to maintain productivity to meet the required project schedule
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with the client on site
  • Ensure all equipment and material is stored neat and orderly
  • Effective communication regarding issues or job site challenges
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

 Job Requirements:

  • Must have a valid TX driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Reliable transportation
  • Must be minimum 18 years of age.
  • Read and speak some English.
  • Must be Honest, Responsible, Trustworthy and Hard-working
  • Must be able to pass background and pre-employment drug test

Physical Demands:

  • Requires strenuous physical work including heavy lifting, working on hands/knees, pushing, or pulling objects and working in certain dust conditions.
  • Outside Work 
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds

Job Type: Full-time 

Salary: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour (DOE)

  • Company vehicle is provided upon completion of training (if necessary)
