Location: Addison, TX (Onsite - 5 days per week)
Employment Type: Long-Term Contract (Contract with potential to extend or convert)
Experience: 2-4 years
Company Overview
Our client is one of the fastest-growing data center developers and operators in North America, delivering hyperscale and enterprise-grade infrastructure solutions for leading technology organizations. They operate large, mission-critical campuses where reliability, uptime, and customer service are core to their culture, and they invest in developing their technical staff as they scale.
Role Summary
The Computer Support Specialist will serve as an onsite, frontline technical resource supporting end users in an enterprise data center and corporate office environment. You will handle day-to-day desktop support while gaining and expanding experience with Microsoft 365, Intune, and Entra ID.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide onsite desktop support for Windows and macOS workstations, laptops, and mobile devices.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, including OS, applications, and peripherals (printers, scanners, monitors).
  • Administer Microsoft 365 user accounts, mailboxes, and access permissions using Entra ID / Azure AD.
  • Support endpoint imaging, deployment, and lifecycle management using tools such as Intune or similar endpoint platforms.
  • Troubleshoot basic networking and connectivity issues (VPN, DNS, wireless, TCP/IP).
  • Manage and resolve tickets using an ITSM platform (ServiceNow, Jira, or equivalent), maintaining SLA compliance.
  • Assist with user onboarding and offboarding - provisioning accounts, assigning licenses, and preparing hardware.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, how-to guides, and knowledge base articles to standardize support.
  • Communicate clearly with end users at all technical levels and provide white-glove support where needed.
Required Qualifications
  • 2-4 years of experience in desktop support, help desk, or IT support roles in a professional environment.
  • Hands-on experience supporting Windows 10/11; basic macOS support is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Entra ID / Azure AD for user and license administration.
  • Exposure to or practical experience with Intune or similar endpoint management tools (SCCM, Jamf, etc.).
  • Familiarity with an ITSM/ticketing system such as ServiceNow, Cherwell, Jira, or equivalent.
  • Strong customer service mindset and clear verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar entry-level IT certifications.
  • Experience in a data center, enterprise technology, or other mission-critical environment.
  • Exposure to PowerShell or other scripting languages for automation.
