Job Summary:

They are seeking a Cloud Security Analyst to support U.S. Government customers by ensuring cloud deployments meet security requirements and managing risks associated with cloud technologies.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Assess security of cloud-based technology integration pilots
โ€ข Monitor cloud security posture for integrated capabilities
โ€ข Conduct security reviews of cloud architectures and configurations
โ€ข Ensure cloud deployments comply with federal security requirements
โ€ข Implement cloud security controls and monitoring solutions
โ€ข Support local LLM development and deployment security within controlled boundaries
โ€ข Assess cloud integration risks and recommend mitigations
โ€ข Monitor cloud environments for security events and anomalies
โ€ข Conduct security validation testing for cloud-based pilots
โ€ข Support transition of cloud pilots into production environments

Qualifications:
Required:

โ€ข Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP security services
โ€ข Experience with cloud security assessment and monitoring tools
โ€ข Understanding of federal cloud security requirements (FedRAMP, NIST)
โ€ข Knowledge of cloud security frameworks and best practices
โ€ข Experience with security monitoring and SIEM platforms

โ€ข Excellent documentation and communication abilities
โ€ข BS in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related degree, or HS Diploma and 7+ years of directly relevant experience
Preferred:

โ€ข Background in malware analysis or threat hunting in cloud environments
โ€ข Experience with container security (Docker, Kubernetes)
โ€ข Knowledge of AI/ML security considerations
