Job description

nLogic is seeking a Quality Engineer to support anticipated work in the Fort Eustis, VA area. This role is aligned with upcoming proposal efforts and will play a key part in implementing the government's quality control measures, contingent upon contract award.

In this role, you will contribute to mission-critical efforts by applying your expertise in quality engineering while working alongside government and industry partners in a collaborative environment. This is an opportunity to be considered early for a high impact effort supporting critical defense missions.

Responsibilities

  • Review and quality assurance comment on technical data packages including both mechanical and electrical drawings.
  • Maintain configuration management control for assigned projects to include incorporation of redlines, engineering change proposals, and other design changes.
  • Interface with customer program management team as the organization's authority on the configuration of the system being developed
  • Provides detailed analysis, evaluation and recommendations for improvements, optimization development, and/or maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission critical challenges/issues
  • Provides strategic advice, technical guidance, and expertise to program staff in the areas of quality assurance, quality control, and configuration management.

Required Qualifications

  • Active, in-scope Secret security clearance required
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in an Engineering discipline. To be acceptable, the curriculum must be from a school with at least one curriculum accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology, Engineering Accreditation Commission (excludes engineering technology). Examples of acceptable engineering include, but are not limited to: Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture and Architectural Engineering. Titles may vary from educational institutions and change over time.
  • 3+ of experience with quality and configuration management and program management support/

  • Compensation: The anticipated salary range for this position is $90,000-$130,000 annually. Actual compensation will depend on factors including experience, education, certifications, security clearance level, geographic location, contract labor category, and applicable government contract requirements. This position is contingent upon contract award.
