Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, backhoes, skid steers,

  • Loading and unloading of inbound and outbound trucks and rail cars

  • Perform routine equipment checks and report any mechanical or safety concerns promptly

  • Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and operational guidelines to maintain a safe work area

  • Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free terminal environment

  • Maintaining and operating facilities and equipment; general maintenance

  • Participate in safety meetings, training sessions, and ongoing continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required

  • Previous equipment operating experience (e.g., loader, backhoe, skid steer, etc.) is preferred

  • Working knowledge of material handling systems, including pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical components; a plus

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with the Terminal Manager and effectively collaborate with the team

  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, including following established procedures, promoting safe work practices, and actively helping maintain a safe working environment
