Is AI replacing web devs?

AI tools are increasingly automating certain tasks in web development, such as code generation and testing, but they do not replace the need for skilled backend web developers. Proficiency in programming languages, frameworks, and problem-solving remains essential for backend web developers.

Hiring a backend web developer typically costs between $50,000 and $120,000 annually, depending on experience, location, and project complexity. Freelance or contract developers may charge hourly rates ranging from $30 to $150, influenced by skill level and technology expertise such as database management and server-side programming.
