Position Title: Manager of Title Insurance
Business Unit: Mortgage Administration
Reports to: Executive Director of Mortgage Services
Position Overview:
This position is primarily responsible for underwriting and generating agency title policies and settlement services on residential and commercial real estate loans to generate commission income for the corporation. The incumbent has responsibility for maximizing penetration of the corporation's Title agency role in residential mortgage through sales, integration and services to internal and external Centers of Influence (COIs). The incumbent provides the highest quality of service to every customer.
Primary Responsibilities:
Generates and complete Agency Title policies for both commercial and residential mortgage volumes through underwriting title commitments of third parties according to established policies, procedures, regulations and risk boundaries of title insurance agent policies accurately and timely in order to generate commission income.
Maximizes mortgage capture rate and penetration of title work on eligible volumes by internal and external sources while meeting sales objectives according to goals, revenue budget and overall objectives in order to maximize profitability.
Facilitates and measures customer satisfaction on mortgage delivery through timely and accurate completion of policies that support these transactions within the appropriate risk parameters and to adhere to scheduled closing date timeframes to add value to the residential and commercial Bank services.
Insures regulatory and compliance oversight.
Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
