Job description

IT Quality Control Senior Advisor

Location: Ideal candidates will be able to report to our Pulse Point location at 1285 Northland Drive, Mendota Heights, MN 55120.

This role requires associates to be in-office 3-4 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace.

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

The IT Quality Control Senior Advisor is responsible for leading quality assurance activities for multiple projects and managing relationships with IT and business project/ program stakeholders.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Develop testing strategy and master test plan to support testing objectives.
  • Create test plan and review with all stakeholders.
  • Lead and coordinate all testing within a project/ program.
  • Play a leadership role in the design, development, and implementation of testing components.
  • Prepare necessary test data required to perform testing.
  • Define appropriate testing methods to employ to assure developed product conforms to requirements and design.
  • Review/ approve all project related test assets for completeness and quality.
  • Collect testing metrics, reports status as defined in test plan with supporting data using JIRA and Confluence.
  • Coordinate with configuration management and release management on releases and test schedules.
  • Create automation scripts using Selenium.
  • Execute tests based on test plan in all environments including production using tools such as SOAP UI, Postman, Browsers, and Perfecto.
  • Manage both onshore and offshore test execution resources for project under test.
  • Accountable for Test Data Management, collection of requirements, evaluation of available data in repositories, ID gaps, align Configuration Management and Release Management on data needs and own test data provisioning tasks.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field of study.
  • Seven (7) years of experience in Information Technology (IT) experience focusing on Software testing, or related.

Experience Requirements:

  • Seven (7) years of required Information Technology (IT) experience focusing on Software testing, or related must include:
    • Frontend Webportal;
    • Mobile app testing;
    • Agile tools to create requirements for testing: Jira, Confluence, qTest;
    • Testing tool Browser Debuggers;
    • API Testing tool Postman;
    • NoSQL database;
    • Infrastructure on cloud using AWS.

Alternate Education / Experience Requirements:

  • Employer will accept no degree plus nine (9) years of experience in Information Technology (IT) experience focusing on Software testing, or related. Must have skills listed above.
