Job Summary and Qualifications

The CT Technologist performs routine and specialized imaging procedures in the application of ionizing radiation in accordance with the established professional and departmental standards.  The CT Tech provides high-quality computerized tomography images of the used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment. We are an amazing team, that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you, who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.  


 What you will do in this role:   


  •  You will compassionately assist and position patients on CT table.  
  • You will start IVs for contrast injection and when necessary.  
  • You will assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary.  
  • You will release customer with proper post procedure instructions.  
  • You will turn over and prepare room using aseptic technique between patients and clean / sterilize equipment.  
  • You will follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.  

 What qualifications you will need:  


  •  Prefer Graduate of an accredited AMA program with a certificate or Prefer degree in Radiology Technology.  
  • Registered Computerized Tomography Technician (CT) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date  
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date  
  • BCLS required within 30 days of start date.  
  • Two years of experience preferred with additional training in CT scanning.  
  • On Call Required and must have the ability to report to the facility within 30 minutes of call back.
