North Star Parcel is an Amazon Delivery Service Partner (DSP) looking for enthusiastic, team players to deliver Amazon packages. DSPs are independent businesses that partner with Amazon to deliver packages. Our Delivery Drivers strive to get every Amazon order to the customer’s door on-time safely. We offer full and part-time opportunities.

In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods within the community while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Safely drive and operate your delivery vehicle at all times.
  • Use handheld device for routing information, customer delivery information.
  • Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions, we deliver in all weather conditions. Snow, Sleet, Rain, Cold and Heat
  • Load and unload packages to be delivered
  • Complete minimum of 25 stops per hour
  • Shifts available 7 days per week with 2, 3, or 4 day work week
  • Lift packages up to 50 lbs
  • Load and unload delivery vehicles efficiently and safely.
  • Navigate assigned routes to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Operate delivery vans or trucks in compliance with traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with clients during deliveries.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure operational safety.
  • Handle paperwork related to deliveries, including delivery confirmations.
  • Assist in warehouse tasks as needed, including inventory management and organization.
Qualifications

Skills

  • Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar courier role.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment is a plus.
  • Strong route driving skills with knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
  • Capability to perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading processes.
