NOW HIRING: Warehouse Manager

Wholesale Food Commissary | Atlanta, GA

Salary: Up to $150,000 + Full Benefits + Much More

A growing Wholesale Food Commissary is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead warehouse and distribution operations supporting multiple customer locations. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for inventory management, warehouse operations, and overseeing a team of warehouse associates and delivery drivers to ensure fresh products are delivered accurately and on time every day.

What You'll Do
  • Lead all daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping, and distribution.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop warehouse associates and a team of delivery drivers responsible for daily morning deliveries.
  • Coordinate dispatch operations, ensuring every truck leaves fully loaded, accurately packed, and on schedule.
  • Manage inventory through cycle counts, audits, and warehouse management systems.
  • Maintain FIFO inventory rotation and ensure proper handling of refrigerated, frozen, and dry goods.
  • Partner with Purchasing, Production, and Operations to maintain inventory levels and support daily production.
  • Monitor food safety, sanitation, OSHA compliance, and warehouse safety standards.
  • Oversee vendor deliveries, warehouse equipment, and facility organization.
  • Improve warehouse processes, increase efficiency, and reduce inventory loss and waste.
  • Resolve delivery, routing, and operational issues while maintaining exceptional service levels.
What We're Looking For
  • 3+ years of warehouse, distribution, or commissary management experience.
  • Experience leading warehouse associates and delivery drivers in a high-volume food distribution environment.
  • Background in food manufacturing, bakery, commissary, grocery, restaurant distribution, or foodservice logistics.
  • Strong inventory control, purchasing, and warehouse operations experience.
  • Knowledge of FIFO inventory management and perishable food handling.
  • Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP software.
  • Forklift certification (or ability to obtain certification).
  • Ability to work in refrigerated and freezer environments and lift up to 50 pounds.
