Job description

A day in this role

Your focus is winning and growing accounts across the Dallas market for fleet equipment leasing and direct trailer sales. You’ll start your day prioritizing a robust pipeline, then move into prospect calls, on-site dealer visits, and client strategy sessions. By afternoon, you’re modeling lease structures, finalizing pricing, and coordinating with internal teams to move deals from proposal to funding and delivery.

What you’ll do
  • Source and cultivate new business for fleet leasing programs and commercial trailer sales through cold outreach, referrals, networking, and industry events.
  • Sell and lease a variety of commercial trailers, aligning solutions to each customer’s operational and financial needs.
  • Lead discovery to assess fleet requirements; recommend tailored lease and/or purchase options.
  • Negotiate pricing, financing terms, lease structures, and sales agreements.
  • Own the full sales cycle from lead generation through close, funding, and equipment delivery.
  • Partner with credit, underwriting, inventory, and operations to finalize transactions efficiently.
  • Maintain strong relationships with dealers, manufacturers, and vendors to drive referral opportunities.
  • Track pipeline health, forecasts, and KPIs within CRM systems.
  • Monitor market dynamics: trailer pricing, fleet demand, and competitive offerings.
What you’ll bring
  • Bachelor’s in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
  • 2–5+ years of B2B sales experience; background in equipment leasing, trailer sales, or transportation is preferred.
  • Demonstrated success meeting or surpassing quota in a target-driven environment.
  • Working knowledge of leasing structures, financing options, and commercial equipment sales.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Self-starter who can juggle multiple deals simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred experience
  • Exposure to trailer sales, fleet management, logistics, or commercial vehicle sales.
  • Established relationships in the Dallas/Fort Worth transportation or logistics ecosystem.
  • Experience engaging trailer manufacturers, dealers, or OEM networks.
Compensation & benefits
  • Competitive base salary + commission (leasing and trailer sales incentives)
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid time off and holidays
  • Career advancement opportunities
Work setting
  • Based in Dallas, TX with travel for client meetings and dealer visits
Core proficiencies
  • Customer Service

  • Business-to-Business (B2B)
  • Business-to-Consumer (B2C)
  • Outside Sales
