What You'll Do:

  • Supervise installation of backbone and horizontal cabling, telecommunications rooms, rack-and-stack systems, cable tray systems, grounding, bonding, and labeling infrastructure.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, field crews, and project teams to maintain installation sequencing and achieve project milestones.
  • Monitor manpower, productivity, and installation progress while proactively identifying and resolving schedule constraints.
  • Coordinate material deliveries, equipment staging, and installation readiness to support efficient project execution.
  • Promote and enforce project safety requirements while maintaining a strong culture of quality and accountability.
  • Collaborate with QA/QC teams to support inspections, testing, commissioning activities, and quality verification.
  • Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, fire protection, architectural, and commissioning teams to ensure successful system integration.
  • Maintain field documentation, daily reports, manpower tracking, deficiency logs, and turnover readiness updates using Procore, BIM 360, Bluebeam, and related construction management platforms.
  • Support phased data hall turnover, owner acceptance, and project closeout to ensure successful delivery of mission-critical connectivity systems.

Requirements

What We're Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Seven or more years of experience leading connectivity, structured cabling, or low-voltage installation on commercial construction projects.
  • Previous superintendent, foreman, or field leadership experience managing subcontractors and installation crews.
  • Strong knowledge of structured cabling systems, fiber optic infrastructure, rack integration, and low-voltage installation practices.
  • Thorough understanding of TIA/EIA standards, BICSI best practices, and data center installation sequencing.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, schedules, and submittals.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software such as Procore, BIM 360, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or MS Project.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting hyperscale data center, mission-critical, industrial, or other large-scale commercial construction projects.
