USESI is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee lighting and gear projects from initiation through completion. This role is responsible for ensuring accuracy, timely delivery, profitability, and customer satisfaction. The Project Manager will partner with internal and external teams, direct junior staff (including Project Coordinators), and exercise discretion in resolving issues and improving project outcomes. This position will be located in Tucker, GA.
Job Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all aspects of lighting and gear jobs from approval to completion.
  • Anticipate industry and market changes, adjusting projects and pricing strategies in collaboration with customers and vendors.
  • Conduct financial risk assessments for projects, develop risk strategies, and communicate financial impacts to stakeholders.
  • Provide comprehensive quarterly updates to management on prospective, current, and future projects, including financial assessments.
  • Direct, train, and evaluate Project Coordinators and other junior team members; ensure accountability for assigned tasks.
  • Act as primary decision-maker for escalated issues, resolving customer complaints in alignment with company policies.
  • Collaborate with sales, estimating, accounting, purchasing, and warehouse teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Manage project risks, change requests, and competing priorities using sound judgment and discretion.
  • Analyze project data to identify trends and recommend improvements for efficiency and profitability.
  • Maintain accurate tracking and reporting of bids, project updates, and financial metrics.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management or within the electrical construction industry (preferred).
  • Experience with lighting/gear-related projects is a plus.
  • High school diploma required; bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Solar ERP or similar systems is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience reading schematics/prints is a plus.
