Schell Brothers is looking for an experienced, energetic, and positive Commercial Project Manager to join our team.

The Commercial Project Manager is responsible for coordinating with various Team Members (CAD, design, Construction Managers) to identify that proper materials are ordered and ensure that work is completed properly and on time. They will also need to create a scope of work for each trade category inclusive of design selections.

In addition to the above, the below are additional responsibilities:

  • Responsible for scheduling inspections utilizing submitted permits
  • Review plans prior to bids to account for construction variables
  • Assist with material estimates
  • Able to complete projects within assigned budget parameters
  • Manage project schedules and coordinate schedule changes with assigned contractors
  • Entry and review of all variances
  • Change Order Management
  • Oversight of the Construction Process
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 4+ years related experience including but not limited to construction management or project management
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
  • Proficient with MS Office Products

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or Civil/Structural Engineering
  • Comfortable with technology and construction scheduling programs
  • Commercial construction or custom home building management experience
  • Understanding of commercial building codes and ADA compliance requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
