Job description

Property Accountant
Location: High Point, NC | in Office

We're looking for a detail-oriented Property Accountant to support the day-to-day accounting operations for a portfolio of commercial properties. This is an opportunity to join a stable organization where accuracy, accountability, and collaboration are highly valued.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, balance sheets, and variance analyses.
  • Manage tenant billings, Common Area Maintenance (CAM) reconciliations, and annual TICAM reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate lease and tenant records within Yardi Voyager, ensuring renewals, amendments, and new leases are entered in accordance with lease terms.
  • Perform bank reconciliations, general ledger reconciliations, fixed asset accounting, and journal entries.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting across the property portfolio.
  • Support year-end audits and coordinate with external CPA partners during the annual audit and tax process.

What You Bring
  • Experience with Yardi Voyager is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience in property accounting or commercial real estate accounting.
  • Working knowledge of CAM reconciliations, tenant billings, and financial reporting.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and a solid understanding of general ledger accounting.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
