MBT Bank is hiring an experienced and results-driven Commercial Loan Officer to join our Rochester team. This role is responsible for the development, management, and retention of a high-quality commercial loan portfolio while building strong, full-service banking relationships with our customers.


The ideal candidate will bring a strong credit analysis background, business development skills, possess leadership qualities, and a passion for community banking.  This position also offers potential for future advancement into a leadership role for candidates who demonstrate positive performance, initiative, and alignment with our bank's values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, manage, and grow      a portfolio of commercial banking relationships through business      development and customer retention 
  • Analyze financial      information and structure lending solutions that meet customer needs and      bank guidelines 
  • Monitor portfolio      performance and manage risk while ensuring compliance with policies and      regulations 
  • Partner with internal      teams and represent the bank in the community to deliver comprehensive      financial solutions

Education:

Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in business, finance, or accounting


Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in      business, finance, accounting, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience      in commercial lending, credit analysis, or banking

Computer Skills:

  • Proficiency in the use of basic office equipment, keyboarding, Microsoft O365, web-based software, banking software, and overall computer navigation.
