Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our clients' dynamic insurance team. This full-time position requires a seasoned professional with comprehensive knowledge of commercial insurance products and exceptional client service skills. The ideal candidate will manage a portfolio of commercial accounts ranging from $50,000 to $1,000,000 in annual premium, with particular expertise in specialized industries including Construction, Transportation, Caterers, Restaurants, and Wholesalers.

As a Commercial Lines Account Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met with professionalism, accuracy, and efficiency. This role demands strong analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to navigate complex insurance contracts while maintaining outstanding relationships with clients, carriers, and internal team members.

Key ResponsibilitiesAccount Management & Client Service
  • Manage and service a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts with premiums ranging from $50,000 to $1,000,000 annually
  • Serve as the primary liaison between clients, insurance carriers, and internal staff to ensure seamless communication and service delivery
  • Conduct regular account reviews to assess coverage adequacy, identify gaps, and recommend appropriate insurance solutions
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries regarding policy coverage, claims, billing, and general insurance questions
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to ensure retention and identify opportunities for account growth
  • Proactively communicate policy changes, renewal information, and industry updates to clients
Policy Processing & Documentation
  • Process policy changes, endorsements, cancellations, and reinstatements accurately and within required timeframes
  • Review and analyze insurance policies to ensure accuracy of coverage, limits, deductibles, and endorsements
  • Prepare and issue Certificates of Insurance in accordance with client and contractual requirements
  • Maintain organized and complete client files, both physical and electronic
