Job description

Keep the fleet moving and the rigs running with a path to grow well beyond the driver's seat. Texas Southern Drilling has completed over 1,100 water wells and built a reputation we protect like it's everything. We run modern hydraulic equipment, hold high standards, and we're based in Columbus, TX, serving roughly 15 counties around Colorado County, east toward Houston and west toward San Antonio. That wide service area is a strength: when rain shuts down work in one spot, we adapt and keep moving in another. We protect a 5-star reputation. We do quality work the first time and we don't cut corners. We run on honesty and humility: we'd rather work with someone who says 'I don't know this yet, show me' than someone who fakes it and puts the team in a bad spot. What this actually is: This role keeps our operation rolling. Right now that means driving water trucks and moving rigs and equipment for our drilling team, and keeping those trucks and rigs mechanically sound. We want a problem-solver who owns the fleet like it's their own. You may lend a hand on the crew where we need help. We pay for the certifications and development that expand what you can do here. What you'll do: - Drive water trucks and safely transport rigs, equipment, and materials to and from job sites - Perform and track maintenance on trucks, rigs, and equipment - Diagnose mechanical issues and keep downtime low - Support the crew on site as needed - Travel across our service area, typically day trips, with multi-day drilling-support runs at times Why TSD: You'll learn more here, and faster, than almost anywhere else. You're a name here, not a number. We pay for your licensing, apprenticeship fees, continuing education, study materials, and CDL. We're not renting your labor, we're investing in you. Based in Columbus, TX. Must be commutable to our operation.

Requirements
- Valid CDL, or the ability to obtain one (we'll pay for it for the right person)
- Mechanic background: you can diagnose and fix, not just report problems
- Honesty and humility: you flag what you don't know instead of guessing
- Clean driving record
- Reliability and ownership: the crew counts on you
- Comfortable working outdoors in Texas conditions; able to lift up to 100 lbs
- 25 or older (insurance requirement)

Benefits
- Competitive salary plus incentive bonuses
- We pay for your path: licensing, apprenticeship fees, continuing education, study materials, and CDL
- Long-term potential to earn six figures as a licensed professional
- Healthcare stipend (HSA-eligible plan options)
- Dental insurance, Health insurance, Health savings account
- Paid holidays and paid time off
- Tools provided
- On-the-job training and professional development assistance
- People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
