Responsibilities

As a Construction Superintendent, you will:
  • Oversee and manage commercial interior construction projects from inception through completion. 
  • Ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency on all job sites. 
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, subcontractors, and vendors to achieve project goals. 
  • Maintain a proactive approach to problem-solving by anticipating and addressing project challenges. 
  • Uphold project schedules and budgets to ensure successful project delivery. 
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractor activities to maintain workflow, quality, and safety standards. 
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable building codes, safety regulations, and company standards. 
Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent, specifically within commercial interior construction projects. 
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, sequencing, and safety regulations. 
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills to effectively manage field teams and stakeholders. 
  • Strong familiarity with New York City building codes and construction regulations. 
  • Ability to troubleshoot on-site challenges with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset. 
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural, MEP, and construction drawings. 
Qualifications

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in commercial interior construction. 
  • 62-Hour SST Supervisor Card (Required) 
  • Proven experience managing private-sector commercial renovation projects in New York City. 
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
