As a part of the Healthtrax Fitness facility housekeeping staff you play a very important role in our business!
You will be attentive to trash or hazards from the minute you arrive on the premises in the parking lot until you leave and make sure issues are remedied. You will inspect the Fitness & Wellness Center building, grounds and equipment for general cleaning and upkeep. You are always cleaning, wiping surfaces adhering to Covid-19 state, local and CDC guidelines to help instill confidence for staff, visitors and members returning again and again.
It goes without saying that you reliable; arrive to work on time, prepared for the tasks at hand, flexible to adapt to those unexpected issues that arise (you know they will) and all the while maintaining protective gear for your own personal safety. While you are able to work independently you are a team player. It is very important that your spoken and written communications must always be positive, clear and concise and professional.
Schedule to be determined. (If fulltime, benefit eligible.)
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all surfaces of all areas in facility, including gym equipment (spray sanitizer and manual cleaner use)
  • Ongoing systematic cleaning and disinfecting of bathrooms, locker rooms and showers Note: Gender specific locker room attendants
  • Sweep, dust, vacuum, mop, clean window sills,/glass doors, mirrors
  • Inspect and replenish cleaning supplies in assigned areas (paper towel, sanitizer and soap dispensers etc.)
  • Empty trash receptacles throughout facility
  • Observe equipment, flooring for potential safety hazards
  • Enforce facility rules and regulations of business and abide by Company Handbook
  • Document areas of concern, repair needs and complaints issued by members

Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year commercial cleaning experience, required
  • Knowledge of working with cleaning products, safely
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Proven experience working autonomously as well as getting along well with others
  • Reliable transportation, year round job
  • Upbeat and positive attitude!
  • Passion for health & fitness is a plus
