What is commercial auto insurance?

Commercial auto insurance is a type of policy that covers vehicles used for business purposes. It protects businesses against financial loss from accidents, theft, or damage involving company-owned vehicles or vehicles used for work. This insurance typically covers liability, collision, comprehensive, medical payments, and uninsured motorist coverage. It's essential for businesses that own, lease, or use vehicles as part of their operations, as personal auto policies usually do not cover vehicles used for business.
