Overview

CreekTech is offering a unique DoD SkillBridge opportunity for transitioning military members seeking to gain valuable experience in Information Technology Systems and Network Administration. This role supports our Domain Name Server, Windows, SharePoint (cloud), and Exchange servers (cloud), Network Attached Storage (NAS), cloud-based storage, our PBX and VoIP system, switches, routers, wireless devices, user computers, printers, and wired security system. Daily tasks may include installing, upgrading, patching, and monitoring software and hardware. SkillBridge participants will support the Systems Administrator with maintaining the essentials such as operating systems, business applications, security tools, webservers, email, laptop, and desktop PCs.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver Tier I/II support for internal users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues

• Assist with systems setup, maintenance, and upgrades (desktops, servers, networking gear)

• Support IT asset inventory and documentation management

• Help administer Microsoft Active Directory, Office 365, and security protocols

• Contribute to IT and cybersecurity projects and audits

• Learn and apply Creek Technologies' IT best practices and operational standards

Required Qualifications

• Active-duty service member approved to participate in the SkillBridge Program

• Command approval to engage in a full-time internship during the final 180 days of military service

• Background in IT, communications, cybersecurity, or technical support

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to follow instructions, adapt to new environments, and work collaboratively

• Basic knowledge of Windows OS, networking, and hardware troubleshooting

Preferred Qualifications

• CompTIA certifications (A+, Network+, Security+), Microsoft or Cisco credentials

• Familiarity with enterprise tools such as Office 365, Azure, or helpdesk platforms

• Experience with scripting or automation (PowerShell, Bash, etc.)

• Interest in career advancement in cybersecurity, systems administration, or cloud technologies
