Summary:
As a Loss Prevention Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. Your responsibilities will include coordinating safety training, writing incident reports, and performing various accident and loss prevention duties. Ready to be the guardian of our workplace? We're seeking a dedicated Security & Loss Prevention Specialist to join our safety-first team and help protect our people, products, and operations.
Responsibilities:
  • Guard Post Hero: Be the welcoming face at our front gate

  • Safety Champion: Enforce policies that keep our team protected

  • Incident Investigator: Document and resolve security matters

  • Access Controller: Verify credentials and manage site entry

  • Problem Solver: Continuously improve our safety processes

  • Team Player: Collaborate on accident prevention initiatives

  • Escort Services: Escort personnel to and from the property as needed.

  • Emergency Procedures: Execute command post procedures during natural or man-made disasters. Monitor severe weather and follow the emergency action plan.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Associate degree in Criminal Justice/Business OR equivalent experience

  • Experience: 1-2 years in Safety, Security, or Loss Prevention

  • Certifications: First Aid (or willing to obtain within 6 months)

  • License: Valid Driver's License required

  • Mindset: Safety-first attitude and attention to detail

Work Environment:
This position is located in an active industrial manufacturing and distribution center with moderate to high noise levels, temperature variations, and material handling equipment in operation. The role may require extended periods of standing or walking on concrete floors and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses and steel-toed boots.
