Command and Control (C2) System Integrator – USMC MOSS / MOCTT Program

Primary Location: USMC MAGTF Integrated Systems Training Center (MISTC) – Site TBD

Clearance: Secret (Top Secret/SCI may be required for specific systems or missions)

Job Summary


The Command and Control (C2) System Integrator provides support to training audience classroom, field training, and exercise execution in the operation, utilization, and integration of joint and service-specific C2 systems within the Operations Center. This role reviews, documents, and authors recommended changes to C2-related doctrinal publications, MOCTT-developed pamphlets, and COC concepts, tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs). The C2 System Integrator prepares and validates C2 systems database information to support COC battle drills and performance assessments, and works collaboratively with Marines, government civilians, and contractors in both classroom and field training environments.


Specific Responsibilities

  • Provide support to training audience classroom, field training, and exercise execution in the operation, utilization, and integration of joint and service-specific C2 systems within the Operations Center.
  • Review, document, author, and make recommended changes for C2-related, MSTP-assigned Marine Corps doctrinal publications, MSTP pamphlets, MOCTT-developed pamphlets and training materials, and COC concepts, tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs).
  • Prepare and/or validate C2 systems database information to support COC battle drills and performance assessments using data from the operations order.
  • Operate and integrate C2 systems such as C2PC, JBC-P/Blue Force Tracker, AFATDS, GCSS-MC, and MCS in support of training events and exercises.
  • Identify and troubleshoot system-to-system data exchange and interoperability challenges within training network environments.
  • Provide technical and operational user support to training audiences during classroom instruction and live/field exercises, including system setup, integration, and troubleshooting.
  • Assist in the development of training support packages, exercise scenarios, and system documentation.
  • Conduct and support after-action reviews (AARs), providing recommendations for curriculum and system integration refinements
Requirements:

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field preferred. Equivalent military technical training in communications or systems integration may substitute for degree requirements.
  • Prior experience operating and supporting Command and Control (C2) systems in a Joint, Service, or Operations Center environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of command and control processes, MAGTF operations, and joint/coalition interoperability.
  • Hands-on experience with C2 systems such as C2PC, JBC-P/Blue Force Tracker, AFATDS, GCSS-MC, MCS, or equivalent systems.
  • Familiarity with system-to-system data exchange, interoperability challenges, and technical troubleshooting.
  • Experience supporting training events, classroom instruction, and live/field exercises, including system setup, integration, and user support.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and standard IT support tools.
  • Certifications Required: CompTIA Security+ CE (meets DoD 8570 baseline requirements). Preferred: CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) or equivalent, ITIL v4 Foundation, vendor- or service-specific C2 system training certifications.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance (Top Secret/SCI may be required for specific systems or missions).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with Marines, government civilians, and contractors in classroom and field training environments.
  • Flexibility to support field exercises, extended hours, and travel as mission requirements dictate.


Physical Requirements and Work Environment

  • Garrison and field/tactical work environment.
  • Occasional extended working hours will be required during exercises and training events.
  • Schedule: M-F normal business hours; reverse operations may occur based on exercise requirements.

Travel

  • Travel to distributed MISTCs and exercise sites as mission requires.
  • Domestic travel up to 25%; OCONUS travel possible.
