As a Security Officer Dispatch Command in Newark, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatch professional with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor activity, coordinate communications, manage access and alarm-related responses, and support timely reporting of security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
  • Monitor phones, radios, alarms, cameras, and/or other communication systems to receive calls for service, relay information, and dispatch personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Document incidents, activity reports, and/or dispatch logs with accurate details to support site procedures, communication, and follow-up on security-related matters.
  • Coordinate responses to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations by communicating with on-site personnel, supervisors, and/or public emergency responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter when assigned, while observing conditions, reporting unusual activity, and helping to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptions.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree, is required.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
