Job Summary:

They are seeking a Technical Writer responsible for creating clear and comprehensive documentation related to autonomous surface vessels, collaborating with engineers and stakeholders to produce high-quality documentation throughout the product development process.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to gather information and understand technical specifications and requirements
โ€ข Create and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, system manuals, specifications, and other technical guides for our autonomous surface vessels
โ€ข Translate complex technical concepts into clear and accessible documentation that is easy for end-users to understand
โ€ข Ensure that all documentation adheres to industry standards and best practices, as well as any relevant DoD regulations and guidelines
โ€ข Review and edit documentation for accuracy, consistency, and clarity, ensuring that it meets the needs of our target audience
โ€ข Work closely with the product development team to stay updated on project timelines, milestones, and deliverables
โ€ข Continuously update and improve existing documentation based on feedback from users, stakeholders, and internal teams

Qualifications:
Required:
