Job Description

The Director, Fraud/Loss & Incident Management will lead the Global Controllership fraud and loss prevention program, end-to-end incident management for potential phishing and fraud events, and business continuity planning. This role is responsible for developing the analytics, controls, and operating processes needed to identify emerging risks, strengthen preventive measures, and support a proactive response to cyber and fraud threats impacting the Global Controllership environment. The Director will also coordinate communications across cross-functional stakeholders and senior leadership during active incidents.

The ideal candidate is a clear, independent, and analytical leader with strong curiosity about end-to-end processes, a controls-oriented mindset, and proven experience managing incidents from identification through resolution. They will be metrics-driven, comfortable interpreting data, and able to operate effectively in a fast-paced, customer-centric, and continuously evolving environment.

Here you can:

  • Develop and implement strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate cyber-enabled fraud and financial loss risks across multiple teams, processes, and systems.
  • Perform regular reviews and assessments of fraud prevention processes, identifying control gaps and driving continuous improvement.
  • Provide training, guidance, and support to business teams to strengthen fraud awareness and reinforce preventive behaviors.
  • Prepare and facilitate senior management report-outs for major Global Controllership incidents, including root-cause insights, operational and control gaps, and recommended remediation actions.
  • Define and maintain metrics and reporting to monitor incident management activity, fraud and loss prevention trends, and management actions.
  • Act as a key liaison between the business, Cyber, Legal, Treasury, and Global Controllership teams to support timely incident resolution and define short- and long-term mitigation actions.
Qualifications

Here you'll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in internal audit, fraud investigation, incident management, or a related risk and controls discipline.
  • Exceptional understanding of financial fraud, cyber threats, adversary techniques, response procedures, threat detection, and cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST.
  • Ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced, high-demand role that may require non-standard working hours during active incidents.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, priorities, and escalation paths simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to tailor messaging for senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience applying security, risk, and control concepts to financial processes.
  • Knowledge of fintech developments and their implications for financial operations, fraud prevention, and control environments.
  • Experience developing incident management processes and/or managing incidents through structured response and resolution frameworks.
  • Ability to lead, influence, and communicate effectively in a collaborative team environment.
