Job description

Warehouse Material Handler – Forklift Operator

Old Fort, OH facility

Schedule: 2-2-3 rotation, 6:00 PM–6:00 AM
Pay: Starting at $24.10/hour

About the Role
We're hiring a Material Handler to manage the flow of raw materials and finished goods across our warehouse — receiving, shipping, and production support. You'll operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to keep product moving safely and efficiently while maintaining accurate inventory.

What You'll Do

  • Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment
  • Put away finished goods to the warehouse accurately and efficiently
  • Unload and stage raw materials from delivery trucks for use on packaging lines
  • Assist with inventory management and physical inventories for packaging materials and finished goods
  • Manage daily disposal and replenishment of raw materials and waste removal
  • Combine partials at the end of production runs
  • Manage the rework area and return product to lines for repackaging
  • Warehouse finished goods inventory from production lines under WMS direction
  • Clear jams on palletizing machinery (LOTO authorized)
  • Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area following 5S standards
  • Coordinate day-to-day activities of the receiving docks

What You Need

  • HS diploma or GED
  • Minimum 3–6 months of forklift experience with certification, in a manufacturing environment (warehousing, shipping, or receiving preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to work under pressure for extended periods
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Regular, predictable attendance
