Job Summary for CDL/Warehouse
We are seeking a motivated and dependable CDL Driver / Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic logistics team. In this dual-role position, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds to deliver freight efficiently and securely. Additionally, you will assist with warehouse tasks such as load and unload cargo, Order filling and Saw cutting. You will be required to maintain accurate documentation. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine professional driving with hands-on logistics cargo handling in a fast-paced environment. Your energy and attention to safety will drive our success!
Responsibilities
  • Safely operate commercial trucks with manual transmission across designated routes while adhering to DOT (Department of Transportation) and FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations.
  • Drive flatbeds for freight delivery and pickup.
  • Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques or equipment such as forklifts when applicable, ensuring proper securement of freight.
  • Navigate routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems to meet delivery schedules and optimize logistics operations.
  • Comply with all safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, inspections, and cargo handling activities in accordance with DOT regulations.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after trips; report any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly.
