Job description

Location: Old Town Scottsdale, AZ or Downtown Austin, TX - No Remote Candidates
Type: Full-time
Compensation: $110,000 - $250,000 OTE, split 50/50 between salary and commissions (subject to qualifications and experience) + equity + premium benefits
The biggest deals in enterprise sales aren't about transactions - they're about transformation. They require sellers who can think strategically, listen deeply, and guide complex organizations through decisions that reshape the way they operate.
At Files.com, that's the kind of Account Executive we're building our team around.
Here, you'll sell to Fortune 500s, global brands, and fast-scaling enterprises where secure file transfer and automation are mission-critical. These are not small contracts - they're career-defining deals that touch entire digital supply chains and deliver massive, measurable impact for customers.
You'll learn how to position Files.com not as a point solution, but as the foundation of customer workflows. You'll run discovery that uncovers real pain points, build trust at the executive level, and structure large, multi-department contracts that grow in value year after year. Along the way, you'll develop the complete enterprise sales toolkit: consultative discovery, value-based selling, multi-stakeholder navigation, and disciplined deal execution.
And because you'll be backed by a world-class product and engineering team that delivers at speed, you'll sell boldly, knowing customers will experience the exact value you promised. Combine that with a high-performing team of elite AEs and a leadership culture that invests in your growth, and you've got the environment where great sellers become exceptional.
This is not just another AE role. This is where you close the kinds of deals that define your career.
Who We Are
We're Files.com, a profitable, founder-led SaaS company powering secure file transfer and automation for 4,000+ brands you know: Marc Jacobs, GrubHub, Michelin, Hot Topic, Stamps.com, Planet Fitness, KFC, and more.
We've built a $35M+ business with just 70 people by hiring smart, disciplined, and high-output teammates who act fast and own outcomes. Backed by $46.5M from Riverwood Capital, we're scaling intentionally - and this role is a critical piece of that growth.
Our offices are located in the best parts of two amazing cities:
  • Scottsdale, AZ (Old Town): A bright, modern office with huge windows , craft coffee , free drinks, and free catered breakfast every day . Step outside and you're surrounded by some of the best lunch and happy hour spots in Arizona.
  • Austin, TX (Downtown): A brand-new space in the heart of downtown, surrounded by energy, culture, and some of the best food and nightlife in Texas. Free breakfast daily, plenty of room to collaborate, and the vibrancy of Austin right outside the door.

Twice a year, we bring the whole team together for energizing off-sites in cities like New Orleans, Nashville, and Miami.
What You'll Actually Do
This isn't about running cookie-cutter demos. It's about deep product knowledge, thoughtful discovery, and selling with confidence.
In this role, you will:
  • Master the Product: Become a true Files.com expert, understanding features, integrations, and use cases at a level that builds credibility with technical buyers.
  • Run Discovery with Depth: Ask thoughtful questions, uncover real challenges, and tailor solutions that align directly to customer goals.
  • Sell the Biggest Deal Possible: Think strategically about long-term value, positioning Files.com as the foundation of customer workflows and structuring high-value contracts that expand over time.
  • Navigate Complex Deals: Manage multi-stakeholder conversations, maintain deal control, and move opportunities forward with urgency and precision.
  • Sell With Confidence: Partner with Customer Success and Engineering teams who deliver on every promise - often faster than customers expect.
  • Execute Pipeline with Discipline: Build, maintain, and forecast a healthy pipeline, consistently achieving or exceeding quota.

Why This Role Is Different
Sell to Enterprise Customers That Matter: You'll work with Fortune 500s, global brands, and fast-scaling enterprises. These are not transactional deals - they're high-impact solutions that change how organizations operate.
Learn to Sell the Biggest Deal Possible: You'll be trained to think strategically and position Files.com not as a point solution, but as a foundation. You'll learn how to sell large, multi-department contracts - the kind of skill that defines elite enterprise sellers.
Develop Skills That Last a Career: From consultative selling to multi-stakeholder deal navigation, this role gives you the complete enterprise sales toolkit. The skills you build here will compound in value throughout your career.
Real Engineering Backing: Our Engineering and R&D teams move mountains for customers. Customer feedback gets acted on fast, solutions ship in days not quarters, and you'll never waste your career apologizing for "known issues."
A Product You're Proud to Sell: Files.com is fast, reliable, and proven. With seamless onboarding and a track record of customer success, you can sell with confidence knowing what you promise will be delivered.
A High-Performing Team That Elevates You: You'll be part of an elite team of AEs who raise the bar, supported by leaders who invest in you. The culture here rewards expertise, discipline, and consistent overperformance.
What Success Looks Like
  • You consistently achieve or exceed quota by running disciplined, strategic sales cycles.
  • Prospects remember you as a trusted advisor who listened, understood, and delivered value.
  • You build long-term relationships that lead to larger deals and lasting customers.
  • You grow sharper every quarter in discovery, positioning, negotiation, and closing.

Who Thrives in This Role
You're hungry to win and motivated by big, complex deals
You combine technical fluency with consultative selling
You thrive on deep discovery and building trust with executives
You're disciplined about pipeline, forecasting, and deal execution
You want to master enterprise sales and accelerate your career
Perks & Benefits
100% Paid Health, Dental & Vision (75% for family)
401(k) with 4% Company Match
Equity Grants for Every Employee
Paid Parental Leave
20 PTO Days + 11 Holidays + Full Company Winter Break
$1,000 Signing Bonus + Modern Apple Laptop + Anniversary Gifts
Free catered breakfast every day in both Scottsdale and Austin offices
Team Travel to NYC, Austin, Nashville, Miami, and more
Bottom Line: This isn't "just another AE job." This is a high-output, high-impact enterprise sales role where you'll master a technical product, sell to world-class customers, and close the kinds of deals that define careers. If you want to build lasting sales skills, be part of an elite team, and fuel the growth of a profitable SaaS company, this is your seat.
