Job description

Standard Job Description The COLT(Common Organizational Level Tester) Depot Sustainment MaintenanceII Technician is the primary technician of the Common Organizational Level Tester (COLT) and is responsible for the repair, calibration, and sustainment of COLT hardware, associated test kits, and TPS (Test Power Supply) cables used in depotlevel support. This is an SCA (Service Contract Act) position governed by the Department of Labor. Blends advanced electronicmaintenance expertise with handson operator responsibilities.

The incumbent troubleshoots, repairs, and certifies equipment, enforces ESD controls, updates records in SAPPM, ensures compliance with DFARS, MILSTD810/461, and ISO9001. Basic Qualifications Associate's degree in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field or equivalent combination of education and 3+years of handson electronics maintenance experience. Ability to read, interpret, and modify schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.

Familiarity with calibrated test equipment (highprecision digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, frequency counters). Knowledge of CCA (Circuit Card Assembly) architecture and troubleshooting. Exposure using SAP PlantMaintenance (PM) for workorder creation, tracking, and parts requisition or equivalent.

Competence with standard testequipment software (e.g., LabVIEW, Tektronix VDI). Understanding of ESD control procedures and ability to enforce them. Desired Skills Prior experience with comparable highend test equipment

Demonstrated experience with ESDsafe workstations and ionization equipment. Experience/exposure to implementing engineering change notices (ECNs) for avionics test systems. Familiarity with Lean SixSigma, Kaizen, or other continuousimprovement methodologies.

Certifications such as Certified Electronics Technician (CET) or IPC7711/7721 (rework & repair). Proficiency with ADIS (Automated Diagnostic Information System) for fault retrieval and reporting or equivalent systems. Handson experience repairing and testing TPS cables and maintaining test kits or exposure to sustainment repair facilities/atmosphere.

Ability to lift25lb (occasional lifts up to 50lb with assistance) and use required PPE (safety glasses, ESD wrist strap, hearing protection). Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the factory. Willingness to work primarily indoors in climatecontrolled labs and test bays, tolerating moderate noise and occasional bright light.

Pay Information This position is covered under the Service Contract Act (SCA) with an hourly wage of no less than <$27.96> per hour. The salary range for this position is as listed on the requisition. Please note that the salary information listed is a general guideline only. For Service Contract Act (SCA) positions only. SCA employees receive a minimum of 80 hours of vacation and 88 hours of holiday paid time off. Paid sick leave is up to 56 hours annually.

Paid time off is prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This is a general summary and fringe benefits are governed by the contract. For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
