The Work:
  • Utilize design thinking and principles to develop innovative and effective proposal designs using PowerPoint and the Adobe Creative Suite
  • Read RFx (Request for Proposal, etc.) documents to understand project requirements, scope, and complexity
  • Lead design efforts for written documents and orals presentations
  • Concept and design graphics that adhere to government requirements
  • Always ensure compliance on all designs
  • Communicate and coordinate with Proposal Management Team throughout the lifecycle of proposal development
  • Provide excellent customer service to our PDC and Portfolio clientele
  • Attend all required meetings including: kick-off, stand ups, solutioning sessions, and color reviews to clearly understand requirements, constraints, and obstacles to help navigate and provide input related to graphics
  • Create compelling original cover design for all proposal efforts
  • Demonstrate quick turnaround on proposal designs while maintaining high quality
  • Organize and govern all graphics files (all inbound, outbound, final, and draft graphics and art) in accordance with proposal process
  • Demonstrate attention to detail to eliminate rework due to spelling errors, typos, or erroneous layout
  • Supply availability to teams as soon as possible and secure back-up support when unavailable (including nights and weekends)
  • Provide timely status updates to Team Lead and report any issues immediately for remediation
  • Demonstrate ability to balance multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Stay updated on design trends, color theory, and typography to produce high-quality proposal designs
  • Learn and adopt AI enabled design and productivity tools (e.g., Adobe Firefly, Photoshop Generative AI, PowerPoint Copilot) to enhance proposal graphics
  • Apply AI tools to daily design tasks such as rapid concepting, visual refinement, image cleanup, and layout ideation
  • Seek opportunities to shadow teammates and obtain real-world experience in the field
  • Observe/lead concepting and solutioning sessions
  • Participate in Graphic Team Meetings and graphic exercises
  • Develop your professional brand and reputation
