Position Title: Lead Sheet-Fed Offset Pressman (Experience on Komori, KBA, Heidelberg, or equivalent sheetfed offset presses preferred)
Department: Pressroom
Reports To: Operations Manager
Position Summary
We are hiring an experienced sheet-fed offset Pressman capable of running high-end folding carton work. This role requires strong color management, fast makereadies, and the ability to run at peak mechanical speeds while holding tight quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate sheet-fed offset presses
  • Execute efficient makereadies and minimize downtime
  • Maintain color consistency using densitometry and quality controls
  • Run complex carton jobs with coatings and specialty finishes
  • Optimize press performance for maximum throughput
  • Reduce paperboard waste during setup and production
  • Lead press crew and maintain a high-performance culture
  • Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years operating sheet-fed offset presses in carton packaging
  • Experience with multi-color and coating applications
  • Strong understanding of color theory and print standards
  • Ability to lead a crew and drive production results
