    Job Type: Full-Time | 10-Month Contract

    Salary: Starting at $51,000 (based on experience)

    Job Summary-

    Global Leadership Academy is seeking a qualified and passionate 5th Grade Science Teacher to provide standards-based instruction and support student achievement in science. The ideal candidate will foster curiosity, engage students in hands-on and inquiry-based learning, and use data to drive instruction while collaborating with staff and families to promote student success.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities-

    Deliver standards-aligned science instruction using Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS)

    Develop and implement lesson plans that promote scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and problem-solving

    Facilitate hands-on experiments and interactive learning experiences

    Assess student progress and use data to inform instruction and interventions

    Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs

    Maintain a structured and positive classroom environment

    Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress

    Collaborate with teachers, instructional coaches, and school staff

    Participate in professional development and school meetings

    Minimum Qualifications-

    Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

    Valid Florida Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education K-6

    Knowledge of science instruction and classroom management strategies

    Strong organizational and communication skills

    Preferred Qualifications

    3+ years of teaching experience

    ESOL Endorsement
